BEBOP is led by Soohun Jung, Rich Park, and Byungwook Kang, who met during their product design studies at SADI (Samsung Art and Design Institute), closely working together on projects with their shared dreams. After graduation, they explored different experiences. Soohun Jung worked as a Product Designer in Munich, Germany for 2 years at TEAGUE, experiencing a global design agency’s studio culture and process. Rich Park studied Masters in Design Research at Cardiff Metropolitan University in the UK, then designed for Felix Heck Design (Samsung Master Design Studio) in Munich. After, Soohun and Rich returned to Korea to co-found BEBOP in 2015. Byungwook Kang worked at Samsung Electronics for 4 years, designing and manufacturing diverse consumer lifestyle products before joining the team in 2020. With their different experiences, the three designers mix their approach into a tight collaboration.
